Good Morning Woodinville Rotary! Fun times abound when Bronco is manning the welcome table! Along with an enthusiastic greeting, you may receive a personalized name tag and gain a new Rotary nickname for the day.

UW Bothell Rotaractor and Camp Unity Peace Project Lead, Mia, made a few Rotaract announcements, including the clubs recent “Outstanding Service Award” and the Spring Cleaning Clothing Drive for Camp Unity. There will be 2 drop off dates: June 14 and July 14. Please bring your donations to a WRC morning meeting. Thank you to all who have already started their Spring cleaning and brought a car load today!

Our special guest speaker was fellow Rotarian Dave Nichols, presenting about Shelter Box (https://www.shelterboxusa.org/), providing emergency shelter for families displaced by disaster or conflict.

John updated everyone on the clubs Peace Initiative. The “Rotary Charitable Giving Peace Train” has left the station, and the first stop is this years charitable wine offering. For $100 donation, Donors received a bottle of “Prevail” pinot noir wine produced from the grapes at the Molbak Block of Grace Town Vineyards. This is a project of the Greater Grace Wine Appreciation Society (GGWAS). There is a limited amount of this premium wine available. Proceeds are to be directed to the Dolan’s “Love a Neighbor” non-profit Foundation for current operational expenses. Many signed up this morning to donate!

SOA Jorge took front and center to administer an assertive fine platform. It was all in fun and all for charity. We meet for breakfast on Tuesday mornings, 7am at the Sammamish Grange. Join us!
