As a Peacebuilder Club, Woodinville Rotary invites the community to become dedicated to diminishing the root causes of conflict: the need for food, water, shelter, health care, literacy, jobs, and human rights, breaking this cycle of devastation and despair, and to helping create an environment of security through providing education, water, or food. What does this mean to us?

Rotary International defines Rotary as “the world’s premier international humanitarian service organization” where each individual Rotary Club determines how it will put action in to its efforts to fulfill this purpose.

We are a Peacebuilder Club of passionate people of action and a driven group of people with diverse backgrounds and talents. Service to us is serious business and we do not take this lightly. Since 1986 we have led numerous community peace building activities and have raised over $3 million dollars; money that has contributed to local, regional and international service efforts. Since the club’s inception we have followed the spirit of ‘having fun is serious business.’

Simply put, we are peace stewards of our community.

For Woodinville Rotary this has meant a global commitment to peace, community, kids and education. The Woodinville Club:

  • Promotes peace through various peace focused projects
  • Offers scholarships to high school seniors in the Northshore School District
  • Provides food and other items for those in need
  • Helps sponsor and fund parks in the Woodinville community and provide ongoing stewardship
  • Provides water safety instruction to elementary school students
  • Provides warm winter coats to the District’s youth
  • Supports local regenerative food practices and environmental sustainability
  • Sponsors projects in Dominican Republic, Haiti and India

These projects and others are the result of the passions and effort of Woodinville Rotarians. We are colleagues and friends connected by the strong desire of Service Above Self. We lead hands on service projects and fundraisers to support the work of local minded organizations, and lead and sponsor both local projects and projects around the world with both financial help and direct hands on support.

The real work of the club is done by volunteering with others with a shared passion to improve lives here and abroad. If you’re looking to be part of group that has the resources to make the world and our city a better place and has fun doing it, then come visit us.

We are always looking for new members who believe in Service Above Self. We meet weekly at 7 AM on Tuesdays at the Grange in Woodinville. Come join us for breakfast!

Woodinville Rotary Club Position on Cultural and Racial Justice

The members of Woodinville Rotary Club are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, both within our club’s membership and in our service to the community. We commit to stand with those experiencing injustice, and to abstain from actions that perpetuate social inequality. We pledge to seek to understand experiences that differ from our own, and to respond with empathy as we continually learn about each other and our communities. We are proud to be Rotarians that serve Woodinville and beyond, and all are welcome here.
