Good Morning Woodinville Rotary!
Our Summer Intern Greeter Jake did a wonderful job this morning along with his dad, Josh. Raffle prizes were abundant, so ticket sales were brisk and winnings included Mexican wrestler masks courtesy of Erv.
We took a club group photo in front of the staging props for the Woodinville Repertory Theatre production of Angel Street (Gaslight). The last shows are running this weekend at the Grange. Check it out before it closes!
Guest speaker Rick Chatterton shared about the Woodinville Heritage Society. Established in 1975 as a non-profit organization, the Society’s mission is to acquire, preserve and perpetuate the artifacts and history of the greater Woodinville area.
There will be no morning meetings the next two weeks as we will be having our annual induction dinner and celebrating July 4th. Congratulations and a standing ovation to President Sandy for a phenomenal year!

Good Morning Woodinville Rotary!
We welcomed @cascadiacollege President Dr. Eric Murray and @cascadiacollege Foundation Executive Director Brittany Caldwell as our guest speakers. They provided an excellent update on the latest developments at Cascadia College and the Cascadia Foundation. We are fortunate to have such a wonderful college in our community. Thank you Dr. Murray and Brittany for visiting!
We also extended a warm welcome to our new Summer Intern Greeter, Jake and his dad, Josh. It’s been a few years since we last had a greeter and Jake did a fantastic job helping with set-up, greeting, happy dollars, raffles and tear down. We look forward to seeing Jake all summer!
Join us for breakfast on Tuesdays, 7am at the Sammamish Valley Grange.

Good Morning Woodinville Rotary!
Eric gave a historical view of Jerry Wilmot Gateway Park this morning as we look at ways to preserve our connection to this beautiful community park. On a similar topic, all are welcome to join a park clean up this Saturday, June 10 from 9am at Rotary Community Park (aka the Skateboard Park) organized by Ken and Paul. Local parks and Woodinville Rotary have a long, storied history together. Join us as we clean up one of our namesake parks!
Publicity fines were alive and well with several members appearing on @woodinvilleweekly covers recently. Erv, Tom, Dave and Steve were busy outbidding each other on fines. Well done SOA Susan!
Congratulations to Ken Bates on approval for a WRCF grant for the Service for Peace organization that will be able to provide water collection tanks and filters for 10 individual homes in the Dominican Republic which currently do not have access to portable water.
