We are co-hosting the 3rd annual Pollinator Fest at 21 Acres with a number of other organizations. We are in need of vRotary volunteers-more to come.
Highlights include:
Education
- Learn about the relationship between native plants and native pollinators
- Discover alternatives to chemical pesticides
- Learn how to attract pollinators to your garden
- Find ways to be a good pollinator steward and become part of the pollinator pathway
- Keynote speaker: Sue Goetz at 10:30 AM. Sue is a garden designer, writer and speaker, and owner of the garden design business, Creative Gardener. Sue will present Garden Design for Bees, Butterflies and Other Good Things!
Entertainment
- Have your picture taken in a pollinator photo booth
- Kid’s table – activities and fun for children
- Entomologist Bob Gillespie will be back with his impressive insects
- Enjoy an art display featuring the winning entries for the Woodinville Garden Club Pollinator Art Contest
Food
- Off the Rez will be serving made-from-scratch Native cuisine burgers and tacos.
- The Cheese Pit will offer homemade sandwiches on fresh baked bread.
