Woodinville Rotarians welcomed all visitors starting with the pledge, gratitude thoughts and a song, courtesy of Bronco and Marilyn.
Guest speaker, Patsy Treece spoke about Music 4 Life, which provides ready-to-play musical instruments at no charge to public school districts for use by students in need throughout the region. Music 4 Life does this because research shows that children who participate in instrumental music activities do better in numerous other academic areas and because we believe that instrumental music can and does save lives. It is a gift that we feel passionately about passing on to future generations.
They believe that every child should have the opportunity to enhance their education through music. Music education affords myriad benefits throughout life, and we aspire to provide opportunities for all children to reap those benefits.
An impromptu classification talk by PDG Alex Hopkins was a nice surprise to the morning program.
Confession fines, happy dollars and raffle ticket wins by SOA Bronco, assisted by 2nd time guest, Mark Ihrig, rounded out a fine morning meeting.
