In 1986, a group of Woodinville business people and community leaders who subscribed to the ideals of “Service Above Self” and “Having Fun Is Serious Business” founded the Rotary Club of Woodinville. Today, the club has close to 50 members and has provided more than 2.5 million dollars for community projects at the local, national, and international level.

Longtime Rotarians agree that involvement is the key to getting the most out of membership.
Volunteer to serve on a committee that meets your interests or to join a service project team. These activities will help you get to know your fellow club members and better understand the work of Rotary.
Rotary members meet weekly to build friendships and plan service activities. Rotary clubs are autonomous and determine their own service projects based on local needs and the interests and abilities of members. If members miss a meeting of their own club, they can expand their Rotary horizons by attending a meeting of any other Rotary club in the world.
