In 1986, a group of Woodinville business people and community leaders who subscribed to the ideals of “Service Above Self” and “Having Fun Is Serious Business” founded the Rotary Club of Woodinville. Today, the club has close to 50 members and has provided more than 2.5 million dollars for community projects at the local, national, and international level.

Why Join Rotary Club of Woodinville?

We are more than just a club: we are friends who are passionate about making a difference in our community and the larger world. Simply put we are stewards of our community.

Rotary membership provides opportunities for you to:

  • Become connected to your community on a grassroots, meaningful level.
  • Develop life-long friendships with other executives and professionals with whom you might not otherwise come in contact.
  • Learn about a variety of subjects through speakers at the weekly meetings.
  • Work with us in addressing community needs.
  • Experience growth in personal and leadership skills.
  • Interact with other professionals in your community and assist with Rotary International’s worldwide humanitarian efforts.
  • Work with local partners to find unique solutions to issues.
  • Establish contacts with an international network of 1.2 million professionals.
  • Involve family in promoting service efforts.

We are members of one club and welcomed at clubs in cities and countries around the world.

As a member of Rotary, you’ll get a chance to become more involved in your community and bring lasting change to other parts of the world through the opportunities that your Club, District and Rotary International offer.

“…become more involved in your community and bring lasting change to other parts of the world…”

Longtime Rotarians agree that involvement is the key to getting the most out of membership.

Volunteer to serve on a committee that meets your interests or to join a service project team. These activities will help you get to know your fellow club members and better understand the work of Rotary.

Rotary members meet weekly to build friendships and plan service activities. Rotary clubs are autonomous and determine their own service projects based on local needs and the interests and abilities of members. If members miss a meeting of their own club, they can expand their Rotary horizons by attending a meeting of any other Rotary club in the world.

Rotary clubs are non-religious, non-governmental, and open to every race, culture and creed. Club membership represents a cross-section of local business and professional leaders who share the common value of Service Above Self. See a historical view on our club from an older membership brochure.

We meet weekly at 7 AM on Tuesdays at the Grange in Woodinville. Come join us for breakfast!
