The past few years have taught us a lesson that we all must learn. All the people on Earth are in this together and must hold hands if we are to survive and prosper. In fact, recently Rotary had proclaimed the following:

• Humanity is now facing challenges unparalleled in its history. Many of these problems are global in nature, such as climate change, ever-decreasing biodiversity, depletion of the earth’s fresh water and over population. Such challenges call for global solutions on a scale unprecedented in human history.
• Without peace, it will not be possible to achieve the levels of trust, cooperation or inclusiveness necessary to solve these challenges.

It is through our service projects, peace fellowships, and scholarships, that Woodinville Rotary is taking action to address the underlying causes of conflict, including poverty, inequality, ethnic tension, lack of access to education, and unequal distribution of resources.

Please join us, to support initiatives that advance these causes for PEACE in the greater Woodinville community and in the world beyond.
