We had a fun and amazing meeting that reminds us of why we’re in Rotary–to have fun with great people while giving back to the community. Thanks to Erv for leading the “Having Fun is Serious Business” presentation, Marilyn for presenting the $17,700 cheque to NSD GLAD and all of you for prioritizing non-profits that make a difference. Last week we allocated $56,200 funds to the following:

* $17,700 NSD GLAD (Auction raise the paddle)
* $18,500 Scholarship Foundation of Northshore, (up from $10,500 last year. $5k each for 2 WHS scholarships, $3.5k SAS scholarship and $5k Rotary Presidents Memorial Scholarship)
* $5,000 Girl Scouts of Western Washington
* $5,000 Bridge Receiving Center
* $5,000 Dolan’s Birthing Center (Haiti)
* $3,000 MAPS MCRC: Essentials First
* $2,000 Water Harvesting Tanzania project
